Pastor Joshua Boyd
Lead Pastor
Pastor Josh came on staff with LIFE in 2015 and has been the Lead Pastor since 2017. He was born & raised in Indiana and is married to his high school sweetheart, Rebecca. They have three amazing children: Josiah, Rachel and Joel. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Ministry from SUM Bible College & Theological Seminary and is Ordained with the Assemblies of God. He first began full-time ministry in 1997. Ten years later, he and his family moved to Las Vegas where he started the combat sports chaplain ministry Fight Church. He enjoys watching MMA and most other sports. Pastor Josh’s free time is taken up with drinking coffee, training jiu jitsu, enjoying nature, camping, fishing, hiking, watching movies (he loves documentaries) and listening to non-fiction audiobooks & podcasts. You can often find him with music playing: anything from Elvis to Emery, Johnny Cash to Jimmy Eat Word, Kings of Leon to Kings Kaleidoscope.
Pastor Burton Hughes
Teaching Pastor
Pastor Burton has called Las Vegas home for over 25 years. Born and raised in California and Hawaii, he was the son of a pastor and was called to pastoral ministry at a very young age. He served on the island of Hawaii for 20 years--primarily at Thy Word Ministries Kona Faith Center and studied at Trinity Bible College. He and his wife, Toni, have been married for nearly 50 years, and have three married children who have blessed them with six wonderful grandchildren. Pastor Burton’s love for anything automotive is expressed by his day job at Subaru of Las Vegas. He has the Great Commission in his heart, and his daily prayer and pursuit is to lead his staff to serve their customers as we should serve Christ. He also loves sailing in his spare time.
Pastor Brent Ingroum
Worship Pastor
Pastor Brent has been serving at LIFE since 2019, and became the worship pastor in 2021. He is a husband to Erika and a father to Mackenzie. He was called to serve the Lord as a sophomore in high school, when the Lord opened a door for him to serve through music. At the time, he didn’t fully understand what it meant. After learning to play the keyboard, those skills quickly turned to helping lead worship at his dad’s church. He soon realized that God had called him into a life of ministry through worship and service. He and enjoys leading worship and using the calling and gifts the Lord has given him through many facets in ministry.
Pastor Josiah Boyd
Next Gen Pastor
Pastor Josiah is the dedicated leader of the Life Youth & Kids programs. Born in Indiana, he was primarily raised in Las Vegas. His journey as a youth leader began in 2017, during his senior year of high school. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the Army National Guard, serving as a Religious Affairs Specialist, a role also known as a Chaplain's Assistant. His commitment to his faith and community even led to a deployment under this military occupational specialty (MOS). Outside of his pastoral duties, Pastor Josiah is an avid practitioner of Jiu Jitsu, training and competing under the banner of 10th Planet Las Vegas, constantly striving to excel both as a youth leader and a martial artist.
